I’d like to direct any new readers to my “About” links in the upper right corner.  All 3 of them will help to shed some light on my perspective on a lot of things in this blog.

Getting started right

In lieu of a standard introductory post, I’ve put information about me and this blog in the links at the top of the page (“About Me” and “About This Blog”).  Instead, I think a much better way to kick this thing off is with a guaranteed crowd pleaser: pics of my gorgeous kids.  Because they are the most gorgeous (and just generally amazing) kids on earth.  Anyone who disagrees shall be subject to…oh, damned if I know.  Coming up with creative punishments is not on my list of life skills.  So just look at the pictures and like them, damnit.  (Why yes, I did take my grumpy pills this morning.  Why do you ask?  Hey, wait…come back!  I promise I’ll post more pictures of them in the future!  I’m sorry I snapped at you.  I’m just a little tired.  And, and, and…Pleeeeeease don’t leave.  Love me!  Validate me!)
