I’m Michelle, 31, and I’ve been married to Nate since 1998. We live in the Detroit burbs with our two wonderful kids, Maggie (November 2002) and Gus (October 2006). We’re not from here, but his job brings us here. We hope to move to the Chicago area one day (my family is there) or really just about anywhere else, but we’ll probably be here for at least another year or two.
I should also note that I have a very dry, sarcastic sense of humor, and I don’t know if it always translates well in writing. I’m used to posting on message boards where there are emoticons available to help me express this, so I worry that some of my posts here will be misinterpreted. If you’re not sure if I’m being sarcastic, I probably am! Even when I’m discussing a serious subject that I’m quite passionate about, there’s a good chance I’ll throw in some dry little asides. That’s just me!
